The Nazca Lines are thought of to be one of the great mysteries of the world, and for due cause. The hows and who's we know, but the whys is the part that confuses the people. Scholars and intellects from all over the world have tried to crack the code unsuccessfully, and now you will be able to witness it with your own eyes. Day 1: The first day will begin with an early morning transfer to the Nazca Airport. Once at the airport, we will have a chance to see a brief video explaining what it is we are about to witness. We will then board the Cessna single engine aircraft, 5 passengers at a time, and prepare for take off. After a quick explanation about the lines and some saftery information, we will be on our way. It will only be about 45 minutes to an hour actually in the air overlooking the figures below. We will see the most popular and interesting of the figures during our flight. We will see the humming bird, the shark, the condor, and even the famous space man figure, amongst others, before landing again.
Upon our return to Nazca, we will then visit a ceramic studio where a craftsman will give us his insights into the Nazca Civilization and the colorful vessels that they created so long ago. After this portion of the tour, we will then have free time for some lunch. For those of you leaving at this point by bus, then the departure time will be around 1.30 PM. Price Includes:

Daily Departures
Once on the ground, we will then continue on to the next activity, which is to visit the pre- Inca Site of the Chauchilla about 30 kilometers away.. Chauchilla is a site that is truly nothing short of amazing. It was inhabited by the Nazca Culture from the years of 200 AC to 800 DC. The forgotten Culture of Nasca was discovered in the sands of the Nasca Desert, and it was brought to evidence both by grave robbers and by archeologists. In the amazing Chauchilla Cemetery, bodies from the ancient Nasca people were preserved by natural mummification in the arid climate. Through their habit of burying their people, this Culture left to us mummies, ceramics, colorful textiles, skull and devices, practically untouched.
